私の作品のテーマは『学校という特別な空間』である。
遠い記憶の中で当たり前にしていた、あの格好やあの風景は、ある思想の中に存在していたのではないかと思う。今は、反対に教師という立場で教壇に立つ。
その違和感と闘いながら制作をする。
遠い記憶を辿りながら、教育の現場にあるものとして、今を鋭く、そして温かく作品におこしていきたい。

In the print making series, I want to tell the experience of Japanese educations that I was educated using Japanese traditional woodblock prints. I have learned the techniques for 8 years in Japan. I like to make contemporary art using traditional skills. I feel Japanese education is sometimes strange and scary. For example, in the gym classes, we have to wear the same uniforms and make a line completely. We have a lot of rules and we have to keep them. In these rules, sometimes there is no reason. I have a criticism for Japanese education. However, at the same time, I want to combine not only critic for it, but also warm hart for the future of education.
